About the Artist

Andrea Bonifacio is a painter, collage artist, and illustrator living and working in Astoria, NY. She has exhibited with the Henry deFord III Gallery in Long Island City, TOPAZ Arts Center, the Iona College Arts Center, 80 Washington Square Galleries, and AIR. She has also worked with various nonprofit organizations benefiting and promoting women in the arts, as well as groups striving for greater diversity of personal expression in arts for worship.

In her work, Ms. Bonifacio explores the humor and challenges of urban life, the relationship between humanity and the divine, and ancient Scriptural stories and concepts. Ms. Bonifacio has a BA from Carroll College in Helena, MT and has studied at the Art Students’ League of New York.
